Terms and Conditions of Delivery for Vanamodeco.com online shop
Valid from 1 January 2016
Liinalapsi Oy is the seller of the online shop vanamodeco.com. In this document Vanamo Deco Vanamo stands for Liinalapsi Oy. Deco has also a warehouse store in Turku. We sell our products to private persons of legal age and to companies world wide.
All prices are in euros and are inclusive of VAT when the shipping address is in the EU area. VAT shall be deducted from the shipments outside EU. Shipping costs are added to the price. Vanamo Deco reserves the right to change the prices and shipping costs. Changes to the shipping costs made by post will be applied in times notified by post.
Vanamo Deco reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at its discretion without prior notice. An order shall be governed by the terms and conditions valid at the time of that order.

You may order products via the online shop at www.vanamodeco.com or by sending us email: [email protected]
Identify the product information in the email as accurately as possible and include your address, phone number and the payment method. The made to order products may only be ordered by email but the online shop includes product information also for the made to order products.
You will receive to your email an order confirmation and the invoice for the wire transfer. We aim to reply to all emails within two business days. In case you do not receive a reply, please call or resend the email and check that your email is functioning (junk mail folder!). We inform about possible vacations and delays in the front page.
A purchase agreement is concluded once we have confirmed the order by email. The customer agrees to the terms and conditions of delivery valid at the time of each order.
Orders may be paid by an advance payment as a wire transfer (payment instructions are given by email) or by PayPal. Via PayPal you may also use credit cards (such as VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) in which case you do not necessarily need a PayPal account. Credit card payments via PayPal are simple and the credit card information is not transmitted to the seller. We deliver the products as soon as the payment is wired to our account and in some cases we may ship the orders to a Finnish address even before the payment. We store the ordered product for one week after which the order will lapse if the payment has not been completed.
We ship the product usually within 1 to 2 business days from the receipt of the order. We will not be liable for delays caused by force majeure or by changes beyond our control. Any changes to the online shop delivery times shall be notified in the front page of Liinalapsi.
A letter and a maxi letter are delivered in Finland within 2 to 3 business days. Packages are usually delivered within 1 to 2 business days. Deliveries to EU countries take usually about a week and to countries outside EU about 1 to 2 weeks, sometimes even more than 2 weeks. Please note that the package may also be held in customs from a week to a couple of weeks.
We will send an automatic email after an order made in the online shop is delivered. You may request a follow up code by email. Regarding orders made by email we do not send an automatic delivery notification.
For packages delivered in Finland you will get an arrival notification from the post office provided you have given your phone number in the order. Otherwise the arrival notification is sent by mail.
Delivery method and costs
We deliver the products by mail. Any small orders that fit in an envelope are shipped as a letter or as a maxi letter without the follow up code and larger (over 500g) orders we deliver as package that is collectable in your post office. In case you want the delivery as SmartPost package, please notify us in the order and include the desired place and address for SmartPost collection. You may also collect the orders from Vanamo Deco's warehouse (Markulantie 1, 20300 Turku) or visit us to see different alternatives. Please make an appointment beforehand!

Cancelling the order
You may cancel the order until you receive the order confirmation. The order confirmation is sent usually on the day on which the order is handled, packaged and shipped. You may cancel the order by email or by phone. If there is a backlog in our email the cancelling email may be disregarded and the package is sent. In such event you may return the order as soon as you have received it. We will return to you the price and the shipping costs as soon as possible.
Return of a defective product – No costs to the customer
If the product you have ordered is defective or if you have received a wrong product you are entitled to cancel the order within 14 days of the receipt of the product. The product should be returned within 14 days after the cancellation. Vanamo Deco will then pay for the costs of the return and compensate the paid product price and shipping costs to the customer. The compensation shall be payable after we have received the product and checked its condition. The returned product must be unused, unwashed and in its original condition. Please send the cancellation notice by email: [email protected] and include your name, contact information, order number and account number in case you paid by wire transfer. Identify also the defect in the product. If you received a readymade address sticker with the product, you may use that on the package and take the package to the post. If there were no address sticker with the product (products sent by letter) send the product by postal package and inform us about the shipping cost for the compensation.

Vanamo Deco is not responsible if the returned product is damaged because of negligent packaging.
Cancelling and returning an order – Return costs payable by the customer
Did you not like the color of the cushion? Don’t worry, you are entitled to cancel the order within 14 days after receipt of the product. The product must be returned to us within 14 days after the cancellation is sent. The returned product must be unused, unwashed and in its original condition. Please send the cancellation notice by email: [email protected] and include your name, contact information, order number and account number in case you paid by account transfer. Customer shall pay for the costs of return. We will compensate you the product price + shipping costs – return post fare. The compensation shall be payable after we have received the product and checked its condition. Return the product by mail as a package and inform us the follow-up code. Return post fare in Finland is 7,90€. If you received a readymade address sticker with the product, you may use that on the package and take the package to the post. If there were no address sticker with the product (products sent by letter) send the product by postal package and inform us the follow-up code. If you pay for the return post fare to we compensate you for the paid product price and the shipping costs.
Failure to collect the product
If the customer does not collect the product and does not send a cancellation within 14 days after the delivery, we charge from the customer all expenses related to the delivery: shipping to the customer as well as the return costs. Post fares are 2 € for deliveries of 0-0,2kg and 6€ for deliveries of 0,2-2kg. Return post fare in Finland is 7,90€.

If you need help in using or handling the product, please contact us. We are happy to help! If you receive a defective product or a wrong product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the product. If the package is damaged in mail, contact as promptly to enable us to make a claim to the post office.
Product warranty and Vanamo Deco's liability
The products manufactured by Vanamo Deco are granted a product warranty of one year from the date of order confirmation. The warranty covers the defects due to manufacturing and material. The warranty shall not cover defects due to improper or uninstructed use or handling of the product.
Defect liability of Vanamo Deco shall be according to the Finnish consumer protection act. The liability of Vanamo Deco shall be limited to the purchase price of the product. Vanamo Deco shall not be responsible for any indirect or consequential damages. The foregoing shall not limit the liability of Vanamo Deco according to the Finnish consumer protection act.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms and conditions and any order of customer shall be governed by Finnish law, excluding however the applicability of CISG.
Any disagreements concerning the contract shall be primarily solved by negotiations. If the disagreement may not be solved by negotiations, you may take the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board you should contact the consumer advisors at Logal Register Offices (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). Competent court shall be a city court of either customer’s or Vanamo Deco’s domicile in Finland or, if customer does not have a domicile in Finland, city court of Vanamo Deco’s domicile.
